If you are a passionate sales professional with an affinity for the dairy industry and experienced in developing and selling water technology solutions, then you are the candidate we are looking for!

As a commercial lead at Waterleau with your home base at our headquarters in Wespelaar you report to the VP of Sales.

How will you spend your time?

You invest your valuable time in customer prospecting and maintaining customer contacts in the dairy sector. So you will be the first point of contact in managing our corporate accounts.

As an ambassador for our technical innovation, you are the spokesperson for the corporate level and new leads generated by marketing activities.

Next to your time with clients and prospects you work with the local teams to develop specific projects.

You have experience in sales preferably combined with a network in the dairy industry of global international accounts. Your technical expertise is based on your engineering studies, which enables you to easily think about technical solutions or high-tech developments. You like to translate your customer’s needs into high-tech solutions in collaboration with your colleagues. You are all ears for the customer's story and specific questions. Between the lines (and the occasional Smalltalk) you immediately see where your account wants to go. At the same time, you look for solutions that everyone is happy with. Thus you are also at the source to identify new trends and business opportunities in the sector.

Your customers are spread all over the world, so you and your driver's license will be on the road every day visiting them. With your technical affinity, you can generate solutions for their needs. You fall back on your engineering background. Communication is key. You make it a point of honor to answer your phone when it rings and to answer your e-mails with lightning speed. English is, say, your thing. Or French. Extra points for Dutch. Deadlines or alerts you stay patient and well-organized. Traveling 20% of your time is sure to fit your scheme.
