Job Responsibilities
As a QHSE Advisor you are responsible for communicating and implementing the well-being policy within the various departments. Together with your colleague QHSE Advisor, you ensure compliance with environmental and well-being regulations. Your specific tasks include:
- Development, follow-up, implementation, improvement and monitoring of the quality, safety, health and environmental policy.
- Implementing and monitoring the quality, safety, health and environmental policy.
- Investigating and analysing the needs, risks and shortcomings regarding the welfare policy, through site visits and inspections.
- Assist in establishing accident analyses and corresponding proposals for improvement.
- Participate in the preparations for the committee for prevention and protection at work, provide advice regarding purchase of equipment and protective equipment.
- Supporting and advising the project managers.
- Making risk assessments.
- Provide information regarding the overall management system. Preparing, carrying out and following up on safety-related training and toolbox meetings is also part of this.
- Carrying out internal audits (including gap analysis ISO45001) and supervising external audits.
Your profile
- You have at least a professional bachelor's degree in a technical-scientific field (e.g. bachelor's degree in Integrated Safety, bachelor's degree in Environmental and Sustainability Management, master's degree in industrial engineering or similar).
- You are in possession of a prevention advisor certificate at least level 2.
- Understanding and knowledge of the general management system requirements of various standards (including VCA, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001) is a plus.
- You must be able to communicate at all levels within the organization and collaborate with others to achieve business objectives.
- Passionate, open-minded. Constantly striving to make a difference.
- Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong in English, all other languages are a plus.
