To support our growth, we are looking for a:
T&D Engineer – Water Treatment
As a T&D Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and continuous development of Waterleau’s water treatment products. Leveraging Waterleau’s extensive expertise, you will contribute to product design, reverse engineering, engineering tool creation, documentation, and data analysis, ensuring innovative and efficient solutions.

Product Design & Development
- Support all stages of product development, from design to engineering (mechanical, electrical, process, automation) and construction.
- Work closely with the Services Director to define serviceability strategies and value propositions for our products.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and cost-efficiency goals.
- Guarantee the quality and uniformity of deliverables across different product managers.
- Use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in the product development lifecycle.
- Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance processes and outcomes across the company.
With your technical expertise, you will:
- Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions or accurately describe the necessary assistance.
- Perform electromechanical preventive maintenance on installations, pumps, blowers, valves, and other equipment.
- Conduct calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and ensure its follow-up.
- Handle the commissioning and decommissioning of our rental containers.
- Replace membranes.
Through your sense of responsibility and attention to detail, you will:
- Ensure administrative follow-up to facilitate necessary orders such as essential parts.
- Actively participate in the emergency service.
Tools, Configurators, and Standard Documentation Development
- Identify the needs of different departments and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
- Develop tools in Excel and Python to optimize engineering workflows.
- Assist in estimating CAPEX and OPEX requirements to address product needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between engineering, design, and sales teams to enhance product performance and market fit.
- Work with R&D and Engineering teams to develop technically advanced and scalable product solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align product features with customer needs.
- Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain Directors to ensure price competitiveness of our products.
- Coordinate with Engineering to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and timely delivery of new products.
- Mentor team members by providing internal and external training on developed products and tools.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience: Experience in an engineering company is a plus, but motivated starters are also welcome to apply.
- Technical and Analytical Expertise: Ability to understand existing designs, analyze their flaws, and improve them based on expert feedback and independent research.
