Tender Manager

Working in close cooperation with the Business Development team, delivering transparency and speed in large and complex deals, with the ultimate goal to increase the output of the sales team.

Job Responsibilities

  • You manage the tender into a concrete proposal by ensuring all necessary data on process, price and content is on time available. In order to achieve this, you work closely together with engineers from all different disciplines in the organisation
  • You support the Business Development manager during meeting with Client on process and/or technical aspects.
  • Once the contract is signed, you ensure the smooth transfer of the tender to the Project Manager
  • Owns the Proposal Execution Plan and the Sales Check list developed in collaboration with the Sales Manager at the start of the tender development
  • Makes appointments with the different technical stakeholders
  • Responsible for the planning of the technical proposal development & pricing
  • Responsible for the planning of the offer (respect of the deadlines of the deliverables)
  • Make sure that all deliverables are produced in due time
  • Responsible for the cost sheet: direct and indirect costs

Required Skills and Experience

  • Process engineer (+5 years of experience), with an in-depth knowledge of water & wastewater treatment technology and able to come up with creative solutions
  • Commercial affinity – able to understand customer requirements and sensitivities
  • Process oriented, analytical whilst always focusing on the bigger picture
  • You like to work closely together with colleagues and are able to convince them on timely delivering the necessary input
  • You like to challenge the current way of working into a more efficient and agile organisation
  • You combine different projects simultaneously
