Aerobic wastewater treatment

Our BIOTIM® aerobic and LUCAS® aerobic plants produce a high quality effluent. The organic pollution is transformed into carbon dioxide and biomass by aeration (aerobic). Our BIOTIM® aerobic and LUCAS® aerobic wastewater treatment plants are designed to eliminate not only organic pollution (or BOD) but also nitrogen and phosphorus.

In order to meet industry demands for fast construction effluent treatment solutions, our LUCAS® plug & play designs consist of glass-coated steel reactors and pre-assembled key-components allowing to speed up operation.


Anaerobic wastewater treatment

When organic concentration in wastewater is high, our BIOTIM® anaerobic and LUCAS® anaerobic wastewater treatment technologies become a valuable alternative for aerobic treatment, since an energy-rich biogas is produced as a by-product during the process, allowing the production of steam or electricity.

An optional aerobic post treatment step combines biogas production with a low sludge and high-quality effluent production.
