Design & Drafting

• Develop P&IDs for proposals based on the T&D library.
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on engineering specifications, project requirements and Waterleau standards.
• Ensure that all drawings meet the required technical standards, codes, and company guidelines.
• Modify and update existing CAD models and drawings as needed.
• Work with engineers to optimize designs.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with proposal engineer, tender manager and engineering teams to prepare the required drawings.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide technical input.

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct self-checks and reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Maintain consistency in design standards across projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Software & Tools Management

• Master the use of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant programs) to create and modify designs.

• Maintain and manage drawing files and design documentation in an organized manner.
• Assist in developing and improving CAD standards, templates, and best practices.

Performance Metrics & Reporting

• Meet deadlines for drawing submissions.
• Ensure a high degree of accuracy and minimal revisions.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and any design challenges.

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD,Auto cad plant 3D, Revit, etc.).
• Understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and technical documentation.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and fabrication techniques.

Education: Bachelor in technical orientation or relevant experience

Experience:

• +2 years of experience in CAD design and drafting.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing or construction environment.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD,Auto cad plant 3D, Revit, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
