Marketing & Events Intern (Belgium)
Location: Wespelaar, Belgium – on-site at HQ
Type: Internship
Department: Marketing
Start date: immediately
About the role
We're looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Marketing & Events Intern to join our team at our headquarters in Belgium.
You'll play an important role in supporting our day-to-day marketing activities, helping us prepare for international events and ensuring everything runs smoothly on-site.
You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager, who is based in Portugal, and act as the team's local point of contact at our Belgian HQ.
This is a great opportunity for a student who enjoys combining creative marketing tasks with practical, hands-on responsibilities, and who would love to gain experience in an international environment.
What you'll do
- Marketing materials & logistics: Organise and manage our marketing stock, including merchandise, brochures and exhibition materials. Coordinate shipments and maintain a simple inventory.
- Events & trade shows: Support the preparation and execution of events in Belgium and internationally, including booth setup and breakdown, organising materials and helping everything run smoothly.
- Content creation: Capture photos and short videos during events for social media and internal communications.
- Marketing support: Assist with content preparation, social media activities, presentations and general marketing administration.
- On-site coordination: Be the Marketing team's eyes and hands at our Belgian HQ, working closely with our remotely based Marketing Manager.
Who we're looking for
- You're currently studying Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- You're organised, proactive and comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
- You enjoy practical tasks and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves.
- You have an interest in photography, video or social media content creation (smartphone skills are perfectly fine!).
- You're fluent in English and Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus.
- You're open to international travel for events, sometimes for several days, including occasional weekends.
- You have a valid passport or ID and are able to travel internationally.
What you'll gain
- Hands-on experience across marketing, events and communications.
- The opportunity to attend and support international trade shows and events.
- Close collaboration with an experienced Marketing Manager.
- Real responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership of your tasks.
- Experience working in an international team.
