Launch of the Waterleau Krofta Rental Fleet 2026

2 February 2026

Responding to Europe’s growing demand for flexible and plug-and-play wastewater solutions

Waterleau Group announces the official launch of the Waterleau Krofta Rental Fleet Europe, a comprehensive, plug-and-play rental platform offering compact Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems, pre-treatment modules, sludge treatment units and all auxiliary equipment required for immediate deployment.

With this launch, Waterleau responds to the rapidly increasing demand from European industries for short-term, mobile and compact wastewater treatment solutions. Stricter discharge limits, seasonal production peaks, plant upgrades, maintenance shutdowns and emergency situations are driving the need for flexible, fast-to-install treatment capacity without long-term capital commitments.

A Complete Plug & Play Flotation Solution

The new Krofta Rental Fleet includes:

  • Multifloat® and Supracell® DAF units
  • Coagulation–flocculation and chemical dosing systems
  • Sludge thickening and dewatering equipment
  • Containerized and skid-mounted configurations
  • Integrated control panels and automation
  • Rapid mobilization and commissioning support

Designed for instant deployment, the systems are fully modular and engineered for quick hydraulic and electrical connection, minimizing downtime and installation complexity. The fleet enables industries to restore compliance, expand capacity or pilot new processes within days rather than months.

Advantages for Industry

The Waterleau Krofta Rental Fleet delivers clear operational and financial benefits:

  • Immediate treatment capacity without CAPEX
  • Reduced operational risk during plant upgrades or incidents
  • Compact footprint for space-constrained sites
  • Fast mobilization across Europe
  • Performance-backed process expertise
  • Access to Waterleau’s digital monitoring capabilities

By combining proven Krofta DAF technology with Waterleau’s engineering know-how, customers benefit from reliable liquid–solid separation performance and optimized Total Cost of Ownership.

Jean-Luc Desire, CEO of Waterleau Group NV, states:

“With the launch of the Krofta Rental Fleet in Europe, we are addressing a clear market shift. Industry increasingly needs flexible, compact and rapidly deployable wastewater solutions. Our rental platform allows customers to secure performance and compliance instantly — without heavy upfront investment — while relying on Waterleau’s proven flotation expertise.”

Linked to a Broader Financing Strategy

The Krofta Rental launch complements the recent introduction of the Waterleau International Finance Vehicle (WIFV), which mobilizes up to €150 million for sustainable water infrastructure projects. While WIFV supports long-term off-balance financing for permanent installations, the Krofta Rental Fleet provides agile, short-term operational flexibility.

Together, these initiatives reinforce Waterleau’s strategy to make advanced water treatment technologies accessible, flexible and financially sustainable — whether for temporary needs or full-scale infrastructure transformation.
