Design & Drafting

• Develop P&IDs for proposals using Waterleau's standard drawing library.
• Create and update detailed 3D models in Revit.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on engineering specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with technical standards, company guidelines, and industry regulations.
• Update and optimize existing CAD models and technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to improve and refine technical designs.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to prepare and improve technical drawings.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide technical input where needed.
• Communicate project progress and design challenges proactively.

Quality & Compliance

• Perform quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, technical specifications, and industry regulations.
• Maintain consistency across all design documentation delivered.

Documentation & Standards

• Maintain well-organized project documentation and drawing files.
• Ensure proper management and version control of design deliverables.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards, templates, and best practices.

Performance & Delivery

• Deliver high-quality drawings within project deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while minimizing revisions.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and technical challenges.

Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical documentation, and design standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through relevant experience.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD design and drafting, with experience in REVIT required.
• Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or construction environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar CAD software.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical documents.
• Experience creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings.

Languages

• Good communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset.
