Process Engineer Water Technology

For our Waterleau Services Team we are looking for a Process Engineer with a Operational focus in Water Technology.

As a Process Engineer with a Operational focus in Water Technology you will deliver the promised solutions of Waterleau to our customers. You will be (co-)responsible of several international service level agreements. This is an independent role which is part of a standby shift and could demand limited travelling.

The function is very diverse, just like the different settings. Variety is guaranteed!

  • Reliability is very important to you, which is why you remotely monitor the daily operation of the water treatment plant(s) or pilot tests to ensure the correct quality.
  • In cooperation with the operators you ensure that the procedures for the daily operation and troubleshooting are in place
  • If needed you guide the operational team of the customer
  • Efficiency and effectiveness first, so you make improvement proposals, with a focus on reducing the opex
  • Reporting on the findings for the SLA’s is part of the deal
  • Occasionally you perform a process audit or troubleshooting on site
  • Follow up KPI's, administration and reporting
  • Implementing small improvement projects
  • First point of contact for the customer

Skills Required:

  • You have a technical education (bio engineer, industrial engineer chemistry, biochemistry or equivalent by experience).
  • Relevant experience in a biological water treatment environment is a great asset.
  • You have experience in an (automated) production environment
  • You are motivated, creative and eager to bring in your own input.
  • You have a sense of initiative and a practical attitude, looking for solutions.
  • You are flexible and happy to work independently and in a team
  • You have good contact and communication skills (FR-EN).
  • Ability to travel frequently and be available for standby shifts.
  • Without a drivers license you will not get anywhere 😊
