Advancing Sustainability: Waterleau’s Latest Wastewater Treatment Innovation at Brewery BB Lomé, Togo

16 April 2024

We are supporting our client, Enertek, with the implementation of their sustainable development goals through the pre-treatment of wastewater at the Atyrau oil refinery plant.

Showcasing our new LUCAS-3 system's capability to enhance wastewater management and meet environmental standards.

We're thrilled to announce the successful expansion of the wastewater treatment infrastructure at Brewery BB Lomé in #Togo, a member of the Groupe Castel.

This achievement includes the initiation and commissioning of the new compact aerobic LUCAS-3 post-treatment system. This advanced system effectively removes residual organic pollutants following the primary digestion in the UASB reactor, ensuring the treated wastewater meets regulatory standards for safe discharge.

This project also marks a significant upgrade with the complete automation of the system to the latest state-of-the-art technology. Additionally, we've integrated the site into our SmartLab digital water platform, enabling remote optimization of the treatment process, showcasing our commitment to innovation and sustainability.

This achievement not only demonstrates our technical excellence but also our global collaboration and commitment to environmental stewardship.
